01Who we are

Instant Embroidery is a custom decoration shop at 6-4816 35B St SE, Calgary, Alberta T2B 3N1. We decorate Carhartt workwear with embroidery and DTF printing, and we sell within Canada only.

02Orders and acceptance

An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm it, which is when we send your mockup. If we cannot make a piece, we tell you and refund anything you paid for it.

The options you select in the configurator are what we produce: garment, colour, size, decoration method for each logo location, logo placement and artwork. Check them before you pay.

03Prices, currency and payment

• All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
• Garment prices come from the shop catalogue and decoration prices from our price list at the time you order.
• Amounts in the configurator and cart are estimates until your proof is confirmed. If a price was listed in error, we contact you before any work starts.
• Card payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe's secure checkout. We never see or store your card number.
• Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

04Your artwork and intellectual property

• You keep ownership of the artwork you upload. You give us permission to use it only to quote, mock up, produce and deliver your order.
• You confirm you have the right to use every logo, image and trademark you send, and that decorating it does not infringe anyone else's rights. You are responsible for claims that arise from artwork you supplied.
• We may decline artwork that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or that we believe infringes another party's rights.

05Mockups, proofs and approval

We send a mockup with sizing within one business day of your order, then a proof showing logo size, placement and stitch or print detail. Nothing is produced until you approve the proof.

Approving the proof confirms the spelling, colours, placement and quantity. Check it closely. Changes requested after approval can add cost and time. If you do not approve the proof, you get a full refund of what you paid for that order.

06Production variation

Embroidery and DTF printing are physical processes. Small differences in thread shade, print tone, overall size and placement on seams, pockets or curved panels are normal and are not defects.

Garment colours vary slightly between dye lots and between what a screen shows and the fabric in your hands.

07Cancelling or changing an order

You can cancel or change an order at no cost until you approve the proof. Once production starts, decorated pieces are made specifically for you and cannot be cancelled or returned, except where consumer protection law says otherwise.

08Limitation of liability

Our responsibility for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and to remaking or refunding work that is faulty or not what you approved. We are not responsible for lost profit, lost business, or other indirect losses.

We are not responsible for delays caused by matters outside our control, such as courier delays, severe weather or supplier stock shortages.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Alberta Consumer Protection Act, the Internet Sales Contract Regulation, or any other law that cannot be excluded.

09Privacy

Our Privacy policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how to reach our privacy contact.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Alberta. Disputes are decided by the courts of Alberta, sitting in Calgary.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
